CANPEX 2026

Southern Ontario’s national-level philatelic exhibition, takes place on Saturday and Sunday, October 17–18, 2026 at the Hellenic Community Centre, 133 Southdale Road West, London, Ontario. Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, with free admission, free parking, and an on-site lunch counter.

Hosted by the Middlesex Stamp Club and managed by volunteers from stamp clubs and philatelic organizations across Southern Ontario, CANPEX is sanctioned by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada and forms part of the American Philatelic Society’s World Series of Philately — one of only a handful of national-level exhibitions and stamp marketplaces held annually in Canada. The show celebrates Stamp Collecting Month with a full weekend of competitive exhibits, a dealer bourse, and social gatherings for collectors from across the region.

The 2026 edition adopts the theme “London’s Heritage Buildings – Past and Present” and introduces a new feature called “Freestyle Philately,” offering collectors a more flexible, creative exhibition format alongside the traditional judged classes. Visitors can expect an impressive array of national-level exhibits covering a wide range of philatelic disciplines, all evaluated by an accredited jury.

The weekend’s highlight is the awards reception, held after judging is complete, where medals and special prizes are presented and collectors have a chance to meet exhibitors, judges, and fellow enthusiasts. Reception tickets and further details are available through the CANPEX website. Directions, accommodation suggestions, and contact information for the organizing committee are also posted on the CANPEX 2026 site, which serves as the definitive source for updates as the show approaches.
